Your Ultimate Step-by-step Guide to Home Purchasing

Together, I will guide you through the process of making an offer, negotiating the terms of the sale, getting your potential purchase inspected, repaired, and appraised, and taking you to the finish line.

 

Here’s what you would expect from me and my team:

  1. Getting pre-approved (*show proof of funds if cash buyers)
  2. Qualify listings that fit your needs and strategize showings considering time, locations, etc.
  3. Write up offers to properties you are interested in & negotiate to put you in the best position.
  4. <After the offer is accepted> Go into attorney review – usually takes 3-5 business days
  5. <Out of attorney review> Submit initial deposit and
    • Order inspection (*negotiate for inspection credit)
    • Schedule appraisal from the bank, receive mortgage commitment from the lender
    • Title Search
  6. Once you perform the inspection, mortgage commitment, and title search, wait for clear-to-close from the lender and title company.
  7. Congratulations! You’re officially homeowners now!

*Typically, a condo resale takes 30-60 days to close, starting from the accepted offer.
